STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WON’T IGNITE

For an electric stove will not ignite, first be sure the stove is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You will want to check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the stove power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning in the oven, then a different part of the oven will have to be repaired. The cause of the problem might be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner without heat won’t do much. An oven will not heat when there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. Your burner won’t ignite if an element is broken or when the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We are able to troubleshoot and repair these issues in less than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

TIMER ISSUES

It’s safe to assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken if the program or timer functions aren’t working. In this case, we can repair control boards on LG, Sears, GE, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of ranges, stoves and ovens. We provide a warranty on control panels and the replacement parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You should have a hot oven. But not too hot! When the heat is extremely hot, it might be due to a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can find the cause of the issue and repair it. But be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove issue is when an igniter glows but it doesn’t light. The reason this occurs is from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We will determine if we can repair these parts or if we have to replace the parts.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens sometimes experience door problems often. The door will not open after the oven cleans itself. We inspect the door closure, seal and thermostat to identify why the door will not open up and then complete the necessary repair so we can correct the issue.
